Clarity & Understanding

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

"This page addresses common questions from aspirants considering entry into a disciplined Sadhana Parampara. The responses are intended for sincere seekers who approach Sādhana with responsibility."

1. Who is eligible to apply for Diksha?

+

Eligibility depends on sincerity, psychological stability, and willingness to maintain disciplined daily Sādhana. This Parampara is suitable for serious aspirants prepared for structured progression, not for casual experimentation. A preparatory period is mandatory before formal initiation.

2. Who should not apply?

+

Those seeking quick siddhis, dramatic experiences, or spiritual status are not aligned with this tradition. Individuals unwilling to maintain daily discipline, observe maryādā, or follow Guru-āgya should refrain from applying. Sādhana requires steadiness, not curiosity.

3. Can I receive Diksha if I already have a Guru?

+

If you are firmly established in another Guru–Śiṣya relationship, you are encouraged to continue there.

Entering a second Parampara without clarity creates inner conflict. Transparency regarding prior initiation is required during application.

4. Can I mix practices from multiple traditions?

+

This Parampara emphasises containment and focused progression. Mixing multiple mantra systems or ritual structures without guidance may create energetic and psychological imbalance.

5. Is online Diksha valid?

+

Transmission depends upon alignment, readiness, and Guru guidance — not on physical proximity. Online or offline, all dikshas depend on the transmitter (guru) and the receiver (shishya).

6. Can I take diksha from other places while continuing here?

+

No. HSGP does not advise mixing of sadhanas, initiations and guru paramparas.

7. How long does progression take?

+

There is no fixed timeline. Advancement depends upon:

  • Consistency of daily practice
  • Emotional stability
  • Observance of Guru-āgya
  • Ethical alignment

Krama unfolds according to readiness, not demand.

8. Is this suitable for householders?

+

Yes. HSGP recognises the integration of Gṛhastha dharma and Sādhana. Spiritual refinement does not require withdrawal from responsibility. Discipline within daily life is considered strength, not limitation.

9. What if I miss daily practice?

+

Occasional unavoidable interruptions are understood. However, habitual inconsistency indicates lack of readiness for advanced stages. Continuity is essential for stable transmission.

10. Is Tantra dangerous?

+

Tantra approached without discipline can destabilise. Tantra approached within Parampara, under Guru guidance, is structured, progressive, and protective. Krama exists to ensure safety.

11. What is expected after Diksha?

+
  • Maintain daily Sādhana
  • Preserve confidentiality
  • Follow instruction precisely
  • Uphold Dharma in conduct

"Diksha is beginning — not conclusion."

12. Are spiritual experiences guaranteed?

+

Experiences are not the measure of progress. Stability, clarity, humility, and reduction of inner reactivity are stronger indicators of advancement. Depth develops gradually.

13. What is the ultimate aim of this Parampara?

+

The aim is disciplined refinement of consciousness through mantra, tantra, and structured sadhana progression. The goal is alignment with Dharma and realisation of the deeper ground of awareness — not display of power.

14. How do I begin?

+

Begin with the Preparatory Period. Stability precedes initiation. When readiness is demonstrated, Diksha may be conferred.
